A Century of Black History Commemorations

A Century of Black History Commemorations

Celebrating Black History Month

Black History Month Student Voices. Powerful Stories.

Highline is centering student voices this year for Black History Month.

Black history is not only about the past. It is part of the present and the future our students are shaping. This year marks 100 years of national Black history commemorations, reminding us why these stories matter and why they should continue to be shared.

Throughout February, students from across Highline reflect on what Black history means to them today and what it means for their future.

Join us on social media as we highlight their stories and continue the conversation beyond February.
