We're back! Classrooms are buzzing with excitement as the 2022-23 school year officially kicks off. Enthusiastic teachers and staff welcomed students and their families to the new school year across Highline.
We have a lot to celebrate this year as we welcome our new superintendent, Dr. Ivan Duran. He spent the day visiting schools and meeting students, staff and families.
"I couldn’t have asked for a better first day of school in Highline,” said Dr. Duran. "The hard work and preparation of our staff and the enthusiasm of our students and families were evident across all of the schools I visited."
