We are excited to share that following a strategic search process, Maria Herrera Lofton has been selected to serve as the new assistant principal at Puget Sound Skills Center.
Ms. Herrera Lofton has spent the past decade serving as a career and technical education (CTE) specialist and a collaborator with the skills center in Seattle Public Schools. Prior to Seattle, she taught CTE for 16 years, covering subjects from middle school keyboarding to AP computer science.
Ms. Herrera Lofton holds a bachelor’s degree in office administration and management and a master’s degree in business education from Central Washington University. She earned a principal certification from Eastern Washington University.
Ms. Herrera Lofton enjoys hiking, running, listening to all genres of music and spending time with family.
