After graduating from PLU in 1987 in secondary education, Todd began his teaching career at Renton School District as a special education teacher. He also spent time in the Kent School District as a special education and social studies teacher, as well as a football, basketball and baseball coach.
Todd moved to the Federal Way School District where he spent three years at Truman High School. During that time he received a Master’s degree and principal’s certificate from Gonzaga University in Curriculum and Instructional leadership.
Todd has been an an administrator in Highline Public Schools for more than 20 years. He started his career at Highline High School as an assistant principal, then moved to Chinook Middle School where he was the principal for eight years. He has been at Puget Sound Skills Center for more than 10 years, where he began as the assistant director. He has enjoyed every minute of his 30 year career in education and looks forward to many more wonderful experiences in the educational field.
