You will be taught by instructors with years of industry experience while operating an on-campus restaurant and catering facility. Learn advanced food theory and preparation techniques while attending food science labs that will prepare you for a multitude of jobs within the Hospitality Industry.
The Institute offers three pathways, each offering a specific curriculum that prepares you for a future career. You will learn about all three career areas during your first quarter of study, then you will choose your pathway from one of three options:
Baking & Specialty Desserts
Approved Equivalency Credits: 0.5 English, 0.5 Fine Art, 1.0 lab science
Dine at the Class Act Restaurant
The Class Act Restaurant is run by high school students at the Puget Sound Skills Center.
