The Criminal Justice program will provide you with an understanding of all the different career opportunities in the field. You will learn about the criminal justice process, civil and criminal law, patrol tactics, white collar fraud crimes, crime scene processing, interviewing techniques, courtroom procedures, and corrections operations, among other topics. Your learning takes place through lectures, videos, and hands-on practical exercises involving individual and small group assignments. You will show what you know and can do through written reports and presentations.
As a program participant, you will benefit greatly from guest presenters who include current and former federal, state, and local law enforcement, attorneys, fraud investigators, and other industry professionals.
Approved Equivalency Credits: 0.5 English, 0.5 Physical Education
College Credits: Up to 10 college credits
