Sports Medicine & Exercise Science Program
A Two-Year College-Prep Pathway in Healthcare & Human Performance
At the Puget Sound Skills Center, our Sports Medicine & Exercise Science program is designed for students who are ready to take the next step academically, professionally, and personally.
This is more than a class.
It’s a two-year commitment to growth, built for students who want:

- Hands-on, real-world healthcare skills
- A clear pathway into rehabilitation, exercise science, and medical careers
Who This Program Is For
This program is ideal for students who:
- Are motivated to challenge themselves in a rigorous academic environment
- Are ready to transition from high school learning to adult-level expectations
- Have an interest in careers such as:
- Athletic Training
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Kinesiology
- Exercise Physiology
- Sports Performance
- Pre-Med pathways
Students who enroll should do so with the intention of: Entering the workforce or continuing advanced education in healthcare, rehabilitation, or exercise science
Approved Equivalency Credit
1.0 Careers (CTE), 1.0 non-Lab Science, 1.0 Health
College Credits
Through our partnership with Central Washington University, students can earn College in the High School (CiHS) credits while enrolled.
College Credit Opportunities
Year 1:
- Occupational Health (5 credits)
- Glute & Abdominal Conditioning (1 credit)
Year 2:
- Conditioning Exercises
- Weight Training
- Advanced Conditioning Courses
